Financial Information

The Parish Council’s financial year runs from 1st April to 31st March. The Precept (Council Tax) Payment is received in two tranches in April and October.

The Communities and Local Government Secretary has called on councils to provide financial transparency by publishing spending information over £500 online. The Parish Council is pleased to be able to provide this information. Full details of all expenditure, can be found each month in the list of cheques approved. Once a year, the Parish Council has to undertake an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) which is normally published in July.
