Financial Information
Introduction:
The Parish Council’s financial year runs from 1st April to 31st March. The Precept (Council Tax) Payment is received in two instalments in April and October. The Financial Regulations guide how a Council manages and controls public finance and can be viewed along with appendices on general reserves, local procurement and approved suppliers: financial regulations link.

Budget:

Audit and Annual Accounts
Once a year, the Parish Council must undertake an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (called the AGAR), which is normally published in July prior to the external audit. This is publicised by a notice of public rights relating to the accounting records, and this can be viewed: Notice of Public Rights 2022 link.
